What hope looks like

Even when the sky gets dark

And there’s thunder all around,

There will be a time when the wind gets up

And blows the clouds around.

The clouds will part and the sky peep through

To show a soothing shade of blue.

Even when the sky gets dark

And the rain, it just won’t stop.

Even in the monsoon lands

In time the rain will stop.

The clouds will part, the sky peep through

To show a soothing shade of blue.

Even in the worst of seas,

When the waters boiling mad.

The little boat will pitch and toss,

And likely make you sad.

But the clouds will part, the sky peep through

To show a soothing shade of blue.

To see the prettiest rainbow,

We must wait out the storm

To see the glory of a sunset, wait till dusk.

To see the sunrise, wait till dawn

Listen to the birdsong with the sunrise

To welcome the new morn.

This day it will not come again

We only get one shot

Go gently through it, as best you can

And please do not give up.

I dedicate this poem to my friend Becky, we have held each other through some tough times. And I want her to know, I understand and am with her and her loved ones through them all.

Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon
